Limousin, lac Tour:
Now on our holidays in France for 2 weeks. After an early start yesterday, 4.00am, and a long day in the car travelling to our lovely gite in the Limousin. Today, after a leisurely start to the day I went for my first ride, wow, it's great here. Julie came out to meet me for the final 5miles back home, so I had a good wind down at the end of the ride.

Sunday Club Run:
First Club Run I've done for ages, took Ron along for the ride. There was a good turn out & the weather was great, only downside was that it split up towards the end.

Audax: National Forest 50km.
This was the second time Julie & I have done this Audax, last time was Julies first ever Audax & it rained from start to finish. This time we had a reasonable day & the rain held off until the afternoon.
This year we completed this ride with our friends Ron & Viv & it was Vivs first Audax...
Oh & I did the ride on my mountain bike because of the threatening weather, as I'm without a winter bike at the moment.

Sunday Saunter, last 25km with Jules:
My riding is a bit inconsistent of late & so I really felt this ride by the end. Had an hour with another rider in the middle. Good to be met by & ride the last 25km with Julie tho' & her improved pedalling technique, (higher cadence), is paying dividends.
